Lytara Garcia is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Nevada with extensive training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), harm reduction, and mindfulness-based interventions. She works with adults, seniors, and military populations, supporting individuals experiencing trauma, depression, anxiety, PTSD, and Bipolar Disorder.
Lytara considers herself an eclectic practitioner, thoughtfully integrating multiple evidence-based theories and interventions to meet each client’s unique needs. She collaborates with clients to develop personalized treatment plans aligned with their goals and learning styles. Her approach often incorporates mindfulness practices, relaxation techniques, effective and assertive communication skills, and reflective journaling to promote insight, regulation, and long-term growth.
Lytara earned her Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from California State University, Los Angeles in 2010, and her Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California in 2014. She obtained her clinical licensure in 2021. In addition to her clinical practice, Lytara is a DOT and Non-DOT qualified Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) and Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP) nationwide, and maintains contracts with military programs, Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs), and private practice clients in CA, NV, IN, AZ, TX, and UT."
