When reviewing interventions, consider how they can be changed or adapted. Though Ariel considers herself proficient in online therapy with children and teens, anyone using this guide should apply their own expertise and flavor. CONSIDERATIONS: The resource guide was created to support other licensed mental health professionals, as they navigate the digital realm to provide treatment. Many interventions listed are ones that Ariel uses in her practice. Therefore, they are designed with her identified treatment modalities and experiences she has gained throughout her years doing online therapy. This resource guide isn't meant to be a comprehensive list of online solutions or interventions. Tips, tricks, and suggestions are simply ideas that have worked for Ariel, her practice, and her clients. They may not work with the same results for others.

Interventions in this resource guide are intended to be used by professionals. They should be facilitated through HIPAA compliant telehealth software. The use of any intervention from this resource guide should be conducted with the understanding that they complement, not replace, the client's current treatment plan. It is highly encouraged that professionals utilize their best clinical judgment, before using any intervention. It is also highly encouraged that they consult supervisors and colleagues to ensure appropriate implementation.

Interventions are given a title, directions, and/or examples of clinical considerations. Professionals are expected to consider the mitigating factors that affect their specific client, before implementation. These include, but are not limited to, their client's socio-economic status, personal and familial culture, and cognitive abilities.
