Member Spotlight: Gregory Tilden, LMFT

Meet Gregory Tilden, LMFT, a compassionate and versatile therapist whose journey began with a profound interest in understanding the complexities of the human psyche. With specialized training in child and adolescent therapy, sand tray therapy, couples therapy using EFT, and ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, Gregory is committed to supporting individuals through relational traumas and facilitating growth.

As an adoptee, Gregory's personal experience of reconnecting with his biological family and navigating the challenges of his early life drove his dedication to helping others heal from relational wounds. He is passionate about assisting clients struggling with the effects of abuse, and his background in philosophy and religion adds depth to his therapeutic approach.

In addition to his work as a therapist, Gregory is a multi-talented artist and musician. Under the name "blessedassistant," he creates music combining bedroom pop, jazzy trumpet, and hip-hop elements. Gregory's passion for art extends to painting, and he enjoys exploring astrology and tarot. He also values physical well-being through bike riding, working out, and hiking.

Outside of therapy, Gregory shares his knowledge of archetypal astrology and offers consultations to those interested in exploring this field. He is also working on an astrology-based oracle deck to create an accessible and whimsical tool for astrology newcomers and enthusiasts.

Gregory creates a warm and compassionate atmosphere for his clients, drawing from humanistic, gestalt, and existential approaches to therapy. He specializes in helping clients find their purpose, copes with anxiety and depression, navigate consensual non-monogamy, explore topics related to sexuality and gender identity, and work with their emotions in wise ways. If you’d like to book a session with Gregory to see if he’d be a good fit as your therapist, check him out on the Our Team page.
